Through the biblical framework of the Kingdom being both already present and not yet fully realized, he encourages believers not to deny their present struggles in the name of Christ’s victory—or deny Christ’s victory because of their present struggles.

Our present experience should not cause us to lower our expectations of what Jesus has made possible. Freedom remains the goal.
