Welcome!

The Muskingum Valley Vineyard Church is an amazing family joining our limitless God on His epic mission! We place an emphasis on following Jesus in His words and His works and teaching others to do the same. We believe that as we put God’s Word into practice in our lives that we will grow in passionate worship, otherworldly love, rich generosity, and the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. We live this out together with God and with one another – sharing our lives as we join in God’s adventure of reaching the Muskingum Valley, discipling nations and changing the world!
We host regular All-Church Gatherings as a church family. When we aren’t doing that, we gather in microchurches all throughout the area!

What To Expect At Microchurch

Microchurches are supernatural communities that share life, do mission, and pursue freedom together in God's presence. You can expect a microchurch to pursue these core values of God's presence, family, mission, and freedom. These values are experienced and expressed through our primary practices of Bible learning and application, prayer, worship, discipleship, evangelism, generous giving and sharing life. You can expect these small groups to feel more like families on a mission together and less like bible study groups. While each community has its own distinct flavor, all of the microchurches have the same culture and values.

Microchurch FAQs

Who can attend a microchurch?

Anyone! All are welcomed at microchurch gatherings.

Which microchurch should I join?

There are many things to consider when choosing a microchurch. You may want to join one because you know people who are part of that community, maybe one meets close to your home, or one meets at a day and time that works with your schedule. There are many ways to choose a microchurch. Visit our Microchurch Finder page to find one that is a good fit for you!

When, where, and how often do microchurches meet?

Each microchurch decides when, where and how often they meet. View the description in the microchurch finder or reach out to the leaders to find location,  general meeting time, and frequency of their meetings!

Should I bring anything with me?

If you are visiting a microchurch, feel free to just bring yourself! You may want to bring a bible or journal along with you or perhaps activities for your children. Some microchurches have a potluck when they gather. You may bring a dish if you would like, but feel free to be blessed by the hospitality of the group you are visiting!

All-Church Gatherings

These are gatherings  where all the microchurch come together for corporate worship, equipping for ministry, to experience our culture in a large setting, and to have a "family reunion".  It is also a place for you to come and experience our culture. This gathering is a great avenue for you to join God's family here at MVVC.

All-Church Gatherings occur on  Sundays at 10:00am at our building at 299 Putnam Ave. Zanesville.

God has called us to break out of the box, to start small and build with microchurches.  All too often, large gatherings squeeze out the small gatherings and compete for time, resources, and attention. We see the microchurches as our primary means of discipleship. These All-Church Gatherings exist to connect and strengthen microchurches. We believe that these two gatherings each have their own strengths and it is our goal for them to work together to build up the body of Christ and not compete with one another.

All-Church Gathering FAQs

What do I wear?

You can dress up or dress down, as long as you’re dressed! Most people dress casual.

What is the music like?

Our worship style is contemporary worship music.

What about kids?

Children are just as important in God’s family as the adults. We value children and their presence at our All-Church Gatherings. The kids stay with us for a portion of the morning. If you are new, we can introduce you to the individuals who will be teaching the children's classes that morning. We dismiss children to go back to their class at some point during the morning. Participation in the children's ministry during the gathering is optional. Your kids are welcome to stay with you throughout the entire morning.

Am I expected to do anything?

As a guest, we value your presence at our All-Church Gathering. One of your main contributions is to simply be present. You have the opportunity to engage in worship and in prayer ministry alongside us as we as we come together and exercise the functions of a biblical church!
