Wade Coffey, Lead Pastor

Wade Coffey has been on the pastoral staff of the Muskingum Valley Vineyard Church since 2008. He oversees the Shared Life Groups and pastors the body hare at MVVC. Wade has been doing ministry in a leadership capacity since 2002, both in the US as well as overseas. He was raised in a First United Methodist church and was powerfully impacted by Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) in his college years.  Although Wade already had a deep personal relationship with God, the Vineyard movement was where he learned more about living in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Because Wade has experienced the good news of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, he’s always eager to partner with God in sharing the good news of His kingdom.  Some of his primary passions are: equipping and empowering the body of Christ, partnering with God to see the Holy Spirit move powerfully in people’s lives, seeing in-depth relational community built on the foundation of Christ, and learning how to do relationships in life-giving ways. Nothing excites Wade more than knowing the Living God and seeing people encounter Him, both inside and outside the church! He and his wife, Susan, live in Zanesville with their four young children.

Cameron Godfrey, Ministry Assistant

Cameron joined MVVC staff in July of 2017. His position covers a variety of responsibilities at the church. Cameron is responsible for managing electronic and digital resources, creative planning alongside Wade, systematic thinking and implementation, as well as coordinating Children’s Ministry (MVVC Kids) along with his wife Mae. His walk with the Lord took off while in college when he became involved with campus ministries and the men’s group he was involved in. He is passionate about multiplication through shared life and reaching out to college students as well as young adults.

Jake Burnett, Worship Leader

Jake Burnett and his wife, Beth, have been a part of the Muskingum Valley Vineyard Church since 2006, and in July of 2017 Jake stepped into the role of Worship Leader. In this role, Jake oversees the worship team and leads worship on Sunday mornings.

Jake and Beth have been singing and leading worship together since they met at Muskingum University. Jake led a worship band on campus and Beth sang vocals. Incidentally, Wade Coffey played drums and Susan Mann [Coffey] also sang. Worship has been central to Jake’s life and he has been in varying roles over the years: from leading worship to running the sound board to being a worshipper in the congregation. Some of Jake’s most enjoyable moments in worship involve stepping away from the microphones and instruments and just listening to the voice of the church as everyone joins together to give praise and honor to the living God.
